Skills for Modern Learning

With recent predictions suggesting that 50% of occupations will be obsolete by 2030, knowledge alone is no longer sufficient to ensure student success into the future. At Black Forest we work to provide children with the skills to succeed as responsible and engaged citizens. Described by the Australian Curriculum as General Capabilities, we work to design learning experiences that will support student development in these essential skills: their personal and social skills, creativity and collaborative abilities, critical thinking, problem-solving and ethical and intercultural understanding.
